Sky Horse Ranch works with MAERA, a 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT.

MAERA could use your donation for their kids programs and horses!

Even though we are easy going at M.A.E.R.A., we are seriously dedicated to providing the best services we can to the horses and mules in our program as well as and being able to offer a wide range of programs for the community. To support these efforts we are asking our friends and neighbors to join in. Heck, we will even ask folks we don’t know. We seriously believe every little bit helps, since M.A.E.R.A. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that runs mainly on donations. Your donations fund M.A.E.R.A.’s ability to help horses and  maintain a family of up to 25 horses and mules who rotate through our program. While living at M.A.E.R.A., our animals need housing and feed, but most usually require additional services, including vaccinations, training, farrier work, vet checks and other supports and services before being used in our other programs/camps or before being sold to loving, caring individuals. Your donations also allow M.A.E.R.A. the opportunity to assist our community during crisis situations, such as: finding missing or lost horses; aiding horses and small livestock affected by wildfires; and, providing housing for livestock in need. And, just as importantly, your donations support M.A.E.R.A. in providing a growing variety of services, including: educational, recreational and healing opportunities for horses, children, families, adults and communities at an affordable cost. Therefore, anything from hay, services, supplies or cash donations to M.A.E.R.A., is greatly appreciated and definitely makes a difference.

PASTURE NEEDS

Due to the high number of horses in need – particularly since our communities have experienced so many forest fires, we’ve been having to turn away horses. Therefore, M.A.E.R.A. is always looking for additional pasture space.
