Items Needed
Helping MAERA doesn’t necessary mean cash donations. With an operation such as ours, any collateral that helps us with our day-to-day needs is greatly appreciated. Who knows, there may be a box in garage containing something we would find very useful. Remember all donations are 100% tax deductible!
Needs:
- Hay
- Flat Bed Trailer
- Large Stock or Goose neck trailer to haul more than 10 horses at a time
- 4°—4 or Gator for ranch work
- Tractor
- Post pounder for T-posts and wood posts
- Drag
- Fencing supplies (gates, wood posts and rails, smooth twisted wire, T-posts)
- Water Troughs
- Buckets
- Sawdust
- Any horse related items (halters, brushes, saddles etc)
- Tools: wheel barrows, pitchforks, etc
- Machinery: Welder, saws, band saw
- Sand for arenas
- Livestock panels and round pens
- Cattle panels
- Sign
Work Needed:
- putting up electric, wood and wire fencing
- electricity re-done in arena (it is old knob and tube)
- plumbing
- grounds keeping
- ripping old fence down
